New Production Facility for GM Coachwork to Meet Growing Demand
1 minute read time
We are delighted to announce that we have opened a new, state of the art production facility in Devon.
The highly anticipated new production facility is set up to focus on building WAV’s, drive-from-wheelchair vehicles and school minibuses which will allow us to increase production to meet growing customer demand and simultaneously offer shorter delivery times for you; our valued customers!
The new facility was a redevelopment of the former British Ceramic Tile factory on the A38 at Heathfield, transforming it into a dedicated 67,000 square foot vehicle conversion facility.
“This is a huge moment in our history and a landmark moment. From where we started all those years ago to being able to open a factory of this size is a testament to the hard work of everyone who works for, or who has worked for GM, over the years” says Graham Vooght, MD. “This new unit, along with our R&D facility, helps us to develop the next generation of vehicles for our customers going forward.”
We are continuously striving to give our customers the very best transport solutions and experience and we believe this new facility will help us to do just that!
