Three New PTS Vehicles Head to Jersey
1 minute read time
GM’s minibus team have recently finished building three new Patient Transport Vehicles for Jersey Ambulance Service.
These Mercedes Sprinter PTS vehicles will join a fleet of vehicles on the island of Jersey and will be used for patient transport and if there is a major incident on the island.
The PTS vehicles have unique front entrance access for passengers complete with handrails and illuminated step edging. A Braun stretcher passenger lift has also been fitted to the rear of the vehicle to provide access for stretchers and wheelchairs.
Each vehicle features a new wipe clean interior with six removable fold and sack seats which have been trimmed with a wipe clean coating. These seats can be removed to make room for up to two wheelchair passengers or a stretcher.
